Sean is an associate who has benefited from a well-rounded experience both at Design Engine and at other previous practices. His design-led approach compliments the meticulous attention he applies to all aspects of detail design.
Sean has been involved with a number of award winning projects whilst with Design Engine, including the new Les Beaucamps School in Guernsey and new teaching facilities for the Universities of Winchester and Oxford Brookes. Sean has also completed the design and delivery of a new library project for St. Anne’s College in Oxford; adjacent to a Grade I listed building by Gilbert Scott.
Beyond the education sector, Sean has been involved in a wide range of commercial and domestic projects; most recently working as a project architect on an Aeroclub project at Goodwood. Prior to this, he was responsible for a 1930s office refurbishment scheme opposite Holborn tube station (due to complete mid-2017). These have given him a rounded insight into job-running at various contract values and scales, for the specific needs of private clients to large commercial bodies. His experience of feasibility, detail design, NBS specification writing through to site monitoring has allowed him to work through complete projects from inception to completion.
