Kyriaki joined Design Engine Architects in 2021 with a wealth of professional and international experience across many sectors including residential, commercial and educational. She has worked on many architectural projects, renovations and exhibitions from conceptual design to planning and construction drawings right through to completion.
She has also gained vital knowledge and broader experience by participating in several workshops and architectural competitions. Reaching final stages and being shortlisted has developed the way in which she communicates her ideas and has strengthened her portfolio.
Her love for new technologies helped her to evolve her digital skills in two-dimensional space design and three-dimensional experience. As a keen user of different design software programmes, Kyriaki is interested in exploring how the urban space in which we live can be reinterpreted into new spatial experiences through virtual versions like animation movies or video games.
Throughout her academic studies (Diploma in Architecture at the University of Patras, Greece / Digital Cities and Urban Planning at Politecnico di Milano , Italy / Msc Design and Digital Media at Edinburgh College of Art/ Post-Graduate Certificate in Professional Practice and Management in Architecture at Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL), she has received a series of awards including the George Simpson Design and Digital Media Prize for the best performing student on the MSc in Edinburgh College of Arts.
