Architectural Graduate

George joined Design Engine in September 2018 after graduating from the University of Plymouth with First Class Honours in Architecture (RIBA Part 1).

George joined Design Engine in September 2018 after graduating from the University of Plymouth with First Class Honours in Architecture (RIBA Part 1) where his final project for a live/work Metal Foundry was nominated for both the RIBA Bronze Medal and AJ Student Prize.

He has since undertaken an MArch Architecture (RIBA Part 2) course at Kingston University, London with his project for a Vineyard in the Hampshire/Surrey borders came runner up in the Traditional Architecture Group Student Prize. His dissertation explored opportunities for contemporary architecture to negotiate and enhance the traditional urban fabric of cities across Europe.

In his time at Design Engine, George has worked across a variety of university, school and student residential projects, gaining experience from concept design to technical design. This most recently includes working on the Guernsey Institute project for a further education campus for the island.
