The Sports Building at Les Beaucamps High School has been been praised by teachers and students. In an article for the Guernsey Press Nick Roberts Head of PE describes how the sport facilities have gone from the ‘ridiculous to the sublime’. The second phase of Les Beaucamps High School includes a swimming pool, sports hall, gymnasium and changing facilities and will be available for community use in the future. In the same article Head Teacher Peter Le Cheminant said:
I think it surpasses expectations in terms of space we now have, …and it has got character too. It has an intimate feel and I think it is a credit to the architects.”Head Teacher Peter Le Cheminant
