Our scheme for a New Library Building and refurbishment to the adjoining 1930s Assembly Hall at Canford School is progressing well on site.
A number of recent landmarks have been reached, with the newly exposed Assembly roof structure already transforming the internal space. New mezzanines at either end are also being installed. These will provide much needed additional seating capacity and flexibility for the hall.
The steel frame for the new Library building has also completed. In the spirit of the refurbished Assembly Hall proposal, much of this structure will be exposed internally as part of the main double-height study facility. This keyspace will provide a naturally lit, well-ventilated learning environment with a strong visual connection to new external landscaping.
